Beaches of Cape Cod, MA

Cape cod, MA has the most absolutely amazing beaches that I have ever seen.

Let me begin with #1 on my list.

#1 Mayflower Beach (Dennis, MA)

Because Dennis was the first part of the cape we visited, it was easy to make our way to Mayflower. This is a popular beach known for the best sunsets. You can consider this beach as one of the beautiful beaches on the cape. Super family friendly. Offering white sand and during low-tide you can walk out for hours down the beach and see tide pooling. The water goes out at least 1/2 a mile.

Great for social distancing. You can really spread out. The clean is always clean with mostly calm waters. You’ll find a snack hut and restroom facilities. Due to the popularity of this beach, the parking lot fills up very early.

F.Y.I. - Daily parking costs are $20 for weekdays and $25 for weekends, or a $75 weekly parking fee. Residents of Dennis can buy a $40 sticker good for a season. Parking is reduced capacity for additional safety measures.

#2 Nauset Beach National Seashore (Eastham, MA)

This another favorite for me. Nauset beach is a 10-mile stretch that has one of the best sunrises. This beach offers protected swimming for the family. Boogie boards are welcomed.

Waves are top notch and there are often seal sightings at this beach. Bass fishing available. There is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the beach. Arrive early in the summer. The parking lot gets packed very quick.

Parking fees: $20/daily, $75.00/week, $220/season. Beach parking lot stickers can be purchased at the Nauset Beach Administration Bldg, 250 Beach Road in Orleans beginning Memorial Day weekend.

You can also visit the Nauset light house steps away from the beaches parking lot.

PLEASE NOTE: I will be continuously updating this post with additional information as I visit and research further.
