Garlic & Herb Butter

I love to add this garlic herb butter to almost every dish I make for Thanksgiving. Except for desserts of course. It super easy and you won't regret it. This is great for cheesy bread, fish and so much more. It's also an excellent way to preserve fresh herbs.

  • 1 cup - Fresh herb leaves (such as sage, rosemary, thyme, parsley) "These are my go to herbs but you can use whatever you prefer".

  • 15 to 20 Cloves of fresh minced garlic (Minced) "Like I tell my daughter, you can never have to much garlic in my house"

  • 8 sticks of salted butter, room temperature. "You can cut this recipe in half by using 4 sticks of butter. I like to make extra"

  • 1/4 Tsp of Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper

  • 1 Tsp of Poultry Seasoning

  • 1/2 Tsp Dried Oregano

Instructions:

Leave the butter out at room temperature until it softens. Mince fresh herbs & garlic.

Add soften butter, herbs and garlic to your mixer. Mix low/med speed. Gradually add the remaining ingredients until mixed well.

Use a rubber spatula to remove butter from the mixer on to parchment paper. I like to shape my butter into a log. It should look something like my picture below. Lol. My daughter molded that one.

Refrigerate the butter overnight. Below is a picture of my finished product. Enjoy.
