So here's a picture of my lettuce regrowing project. I have tried different varieties of lettuce but any lettuce with a root at the bottom works best in dirt. Romaine and other lettuces without roots work better in water so you may sprout roots.
It's very simple.
cutting the leaves at about 1 inch from the bottom.
Place remaining stem in a shallow dish of water (about 1/2 inch). If you have a root already, you can plant with dirt.
Place on a window sill or under grow lights.
Change water in bowl every 1 to 2 days or water dirt weekly.
Watch your lettuce grow.
