Ingredients:
2 pcs of Salmon (Approx. 1/2 lb to 1 lb each)
3/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
5 tablespoons brown sugar
5 tablespoon honey, or more to taste
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
2 cups Brussel Sprouts
red pepper flakes
Teriyaki Sauce:
In a mixing bowl combine 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, ginger, and garlic powder in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook until nearly heated through, about 1 minute.
Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cold water together in a cup; stir until dissolved. Add to the saucepan. Cook and stir sauce until thickened, 5 to 7 minutes. Set aside for Salmon.
Instructions:
I will be cooking my salmon in my air fryer oven (370 Degrees / 25 minutes) but you can bake your salmon or pan fry as well. When using my air fryer I add the sauce on after its done cooking. When I pan fry or bake my fish (350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes) depending on the size, I add the sauce before cooking. Season fish with 1 tbsp sesame oil, sprinkle ground ginger, white pepper, garlic and salt for flavor. Cook fish until fully cooked.
In a mixing bowl add 1/4 soy sauce, tbsp sesame oil, sprinkle white pepper, garlic, red pepper, salt and toss with brussel sprouts. Normally, I broil them for about 15 to 20 minutes until brown but today I will be adding them to my air fryer with my salmon.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
